Take your bird to a special avian vet. Call around and find one that takes birds; not all do. Here's some sites about canary wings for you to read:

First, clip its wing feathers down so that it isnt flying into walls or in circles, or out of control.

Second, start him on a high vitamin diet, like by getting vitamin drops for his food and water.

My bird was a young'n when I got him, (abraham lincoln is his name) and he flew into the walls all the time, and had a perpetual black eye, poor thing.
Anyways, for the birds safety, have the wing feathers trimmed (do it at a pet shop or something if you dont know how) so that the bird will stay safe, during whatever healing time. You can then let it out of its cage, and let it walk around, and stuff, without it flying into a wall or something and breaking its beak or getting a big old shiner.

Probably what this bird needs is a week or 2 to heal up a bit.

there isnt much that you can do sometimes a vet can try and stint it,but it does depend on the vet. you can make him feel more comfy by putting his food, water and treats near the lower part of the cage
