Would you rather marry someone who doesn't love youat all but is richer than Bill Gates, and is willing to provide you with everything you could ever want? Or would you rather marry someone who is poor as dirt but loves you more than anything else in the world?

No divorces...pick on or the other...try to be rational...love doesn't buy food, and money doesn't buy love...so which one would you pick?

To be practical person, I prefer a rich one, because feelings can be developed and learn.

ok i can answer this honestly. I would rather be rich and have it all, rather than be poor and not have $hit! I am poor now as the result of hubby quitting a good job, and now we are paying for it. As long as he can provide all we need and sometimes what we want, then I want to see how the "other half" lives. Poverty suxs! besides, love doesn't pay the rent/ bills, nor does it put food on the table. Cold, hard cash does....

Money can't buy love. Dirt poor would be the way to go.

You make the assumption that poor today means poor for always - but perhaps with the love of a woman, the poor man becomes infused with enthusiasm and invents SolidWindows (windows that don't crash) and makes more $$ than Bill Gates!

Well I grew up dirt poor. Now I along with my family have two food markets. Now I have more then I need. I find myself more alone and only have company with females on the weekends. I don't trust that many people and lost contact with my old school boyz.

I may be naive but I think it would be better to marry someone who loves you. What if you married a rich person who did not love you, he/she provides for you for a little while then gets tired of you and decides to mess your life up and he/she has the resources to do it.

how poor? you caint eat love. Yet money don't buy happiness either. If it's a choice between eating and starving, go with the rich dude. If you make enough to survive choose love.

Ha Ha both. If i hadn't allready found the love of my life i'd marry for money. Heck why not you'd be to busy to see them anyway! Or you can marry the rich then divorse and then set out for your poor dirty lover.

Poor. Marrying someone is about loving them... at least for me. Being rich and in a loveless marriage sounds like no fun to me.

I would definitely love to be in love even if someone is poor. Wealth is deceptive but love is not. In true love it does not matter if you are rich or poor, what matters is the person you love is with you in richness or poverty.
