about people who smoke? It really pisses me off when people say it's a gateway drug, this isn't true for everyone, I have never and never will have any desire to try anything else. Also the bullshit of saying dopers are lady and unmotivated, Im a hard working person I even work 17 hour days at times..just because Im that dedicated to my job Im even working on truing to work my way up. Ive smoked since I was 16 and I still passed standard testing and made excellent grades, and got my diploma.
Feel free to leave ur opinon but dont be stereotypical or rude because I wont even pay no mind to your answer

I use to smoke. I think that it affects people in different ways. I thought it made me silly. I don't believe for one second that it hurts you in any way. I feel that smoking cigs is worse for the body. Alcohol is worse as well. You don't hear of people overdosing on pot. My ex is an avid smoker, and he is very hardworking and far from lazy. He is a very smart guy and has a very successful hobby building custom motorcycles. I wouldn't trust anyone else to build me a bike. I always felt that it balanced him out. He could be a very nasty person. The doctor told him that he had a chemical inbalance and it seemed that pot was the only thing that would calm him down. I would rather him do that then to turn to drinking. Now with me, if I just took a hit or two, I was good to go. But if I sat down with my ex and smoked, I couldn't handle the same amount that he could and I would be so toasted that I didn't want to do anything. I think it depends on the person. Me personally, would not risk having my son taken away from me. He is my main concern and the reason I chose not to do that anymore. Pot is only a gateway drug if you choose to let it be. More power to ya hun, just be careful and watch the people you are around while you do that or the ones you are getting it from.

Wow, every word you just said is like my exact opinion. Smoking pot is one of my hobbies. I think this might just be me, but i tend to do better at things after smoking a bowl or two, such as school and work. I do not smoke marijuana to aviod problems. I hate all the stereotypes. I cannot see how weed is a gateway drug in any way shape or form. I've only been smoking for about 4 yrs but ive packed in a lot of experience in those years. My grades go up when i have a good amount of marijuana. I have more motovation when i come home from school to do my homework. I don't even like to smoke that socially if you ask me, most of the people around my neighborhood that smoke pot fit the sterotype perfectly and i acually think they smoke it to be cool. I'd rather smoke a bowl and then go hang out w/ people then just do that for our fun. Marijuana deffanatly makes me feel good, but at times of trouble or stress, it does not make me feel any different which i am glad it does not. If it did i would feel like i was doing something bad for me. I liked this question and im glad some others feel the same way i do.

Look, if you choose to ignore researched facts as if they are all the product of some conspiracy, what can any of us say? Hundreds of thousands of people say the same things you do, and statistics over the past forty years or so indicate that for many many many people it was a gateway drug. You say it won't be for you, well I'll bet you that six years ago the thought of pot smoking scared the crap out of you, and you know what? Something changed that. Who knows where you'll be at six years from now. As for the effects on people, well I am sure that yo would say that there are no negative effects. You'll say whatever you want to to rationalize and justify that fact that you use illegal drugs, which pot is, fact, it is. So I believe everythng you say with the slant that it comes from a confirmed drug user.
There is nothing incorre t or abusive in anything I have said, and that too is a fact.
Curious though, how will you be able to pass the tox screen tests for employment? wish you mellow times and peace.
Here is a link to what you may consider to be lies about pot:

People who use any drug, and I've known many, are looking for escape from reality. The constant reliance on the drug leads people to lose their common-sense and critical thinking, because they don't deal with difficult situations, they just "get high" and procrastinate until the difficulty passes. I've known many who, when high, thought it would be "cool" just to try something new - and that is a very dangerous road to go down.

Weed smells like garbage. Enjoy. For a high percentage of drug users the stereotypes are true.

Well I don't smoke weed, but I have a friend who does. She says it relieves stress and motivates her to work harder. I thought it made people lazy (like the commercials say), but I guess not.

? Most people don't say that about it, I guess you're just leading two lifestyles, which is ok, but the people you meet from each one will conlflict, and I've found there isn't much to do about it.
Sometimes I do things some of my friends would talk smack about, but I just don't tell them I do it, I tell people who are cool w/it and laugh w/me.

Nothing against recreational use of Marijuanna, but I think I would want to make sure no child of mine ever attended your high school. Especially since they allowed you to graduate without having a basic understanding of the English language.
