WE have tried the local sherrif's department and crisis line. She has had her stomach pumped and wrists sewn but it is always chalked up to alcoholsim. I know it is a mental thing. What can we do???

You need a psych work up on how unstable this person is. You'll need a court order for involuntary commitment and spaces at the Arizona State Hospital are few. Good luck.

Have you tried calling Social Services or talked to a doctor especially a psychiatrist? One would think that if she cut her wrists, they would think that she has a problem.

Have her declared mentally incompetent by the court of law and have her committed. Call adult protective services.

Last I heard it reuqires 4 adult family members to submit affidavits. Family members can be sister, brother, mother, father, ect.
