How do you know that weren't supposed to fall in love with him... Destiny can be mysterious and hard to predict. If you are close enough to him to think you are in love with him, then I think you should be honest. The worst he could say is that he doesn't feel the same way.... So you either find out that he has the same feelings or you get to get some closure so you can move on. Either way honesty is the answer.

Since I have dated women from many different cultures, religions and backgrouds, the phrase "you're not supposed to fall in love with" doesn't compute for me.
Why or why not? Are we still living in the fifties or haven't you exited West Side Story yet?

love happens when it happens we dont get a choice in depending on your age i cant say much because i am not sure of how old you are but i wouls suggest if your not a young bub then let your feelings known if you dont it is something that you will regret for the rest of your life if your a young bub then maby it is just lust and you should wait and see if time changes how you feel

It's called unrequited love, and don't tell him - because it will ruin your memory. And I'm guessing perhaps it's someone who is already married, or morally out of reach (this comment for the individual who doesn't believe anyone should be out of reach).

i'm in the same predicament...she's my best friend. my advice is to weigh out the risks vs. rewards. if you think it could jeopardize what you have, then you have to decide if that's worth a "what-if"
