Put on your p.j's and your slippers, make some popcorn, go rent a movie, and settle in for a night of whatever you like to watch best. In that order.

Depending on how long you have been depressed can be a serious issue. Being depressed is definitely not a silly thing. I'd consider being evaluated by a professional - a doctor who can prescribe you medication for your depression.

I have a depressed colleague. What I do is
- listen to what he has to say WITHOUT COMMENTING. Just acknowledge. Don't give your opinion. Never say stupid.
- get his mind off the depressing topic by switching to another topic which interest him.
- talk about happy things that happen to him.
You can suggest to your friend to take Vitamin B+C and Tyrosine. It helps to remove depression.

depression is not a silly thing, i have depression (severe or chronic) however you want to put it, it can be a debilitating condition, don't take it lightly. If your not sure what kind you have go see a psycologist or psychiatrist.
