I don't believe that it is wrong to fly the Mexican flag in America. There are certain rules though. If flying along with the United States flag, the Mexican flag should be hung lower. Since we are living in the U.S.

If you live here and reap the benefits of America then you fly the American flag period. You can't fly both you have to choose, this flag and our language is how we keep our selves united, the Cuban and the Mexicans are the most disrespectful people and immigrants we have ever had come to this country. all other immigrants have assimilated and flowen the American flag. If Mexico is so wonderful go home to it, go live under their government, and then you can fly your own flag. What the hell don't you people understand, their is only room for one flag the American flag. In Mexico you cannot fly a foreign flag. So why should you be able to fly one here. Thier is an asshole down the street that flys a Mexican flag he is working and making a living for his family here in America, Mexico has given them nothing so why in the hell is he flying the Mexican flag. And don't give me that crap he is proud to be a Mexican bullsh*t, you can be proud to be a Mexican and fly the American flag, it's America that is providing for his family not Mexico.

The whole idea that someone can be purely "American" (Caucasian, speaks only English) without sharing and be proud of their heritage is wrong-headed, stupid and out of date, especially when you consider that Caucasians will make up less than 50% of the US population by the year 2050 according to US Census Department statistics.

In the near future, the identity of America will be more integrated, and in parts of the US, such as Miami, Spanish is already a major language, even for business. So there is nothing wrong with being proud of being Mexican, and being an American too.

The only way America as a country will change is if we speak up against things we don't like, and making the society change. Less than 50 years ago, blacks were lynched without trial, but that is all gone. So change is not only possible, it is necessary.

Speaking up and making a difference is the most basic responsibility of being an American, regardless of our heritage. We are a young country, and each of us needs to contribute to define our nation's future and identity.

Be proud of your heritage by flying the Mexican flag, and be proud of being a New American too!

YES, it is totally wrong..... it is barely acceptable IF The Flag of The United States of America is flying above the foreign flag. It is totatly unacceptable for an illegal alien to fly any foreign flag.... they have not earned the right to be here or fly their flag. If they want to fly their foreign flag, they can drag their azz back to their own country. Stop trashing our country.

I don't need any sites or blogs to tell me what is right or wrong. Common sense should be enough.

Yes, I find it rather offensive. If the American flag was flying above it, I would not have a problem with that, but not the Mexican flag alone.

I see nothing wrong with being proud of your home country, but you must remember that you are now in a different country and there are many Americans that love, and are as proud of, their country as you are of yours.
Most would suggest that if you love your country so much that you feel the need to fly that flag while you are living in the US, that you might want to return to your home country. I do not agree with that, I do however wonder how your home country will improve to the point that you will want to return to it to live, if so many people leave it to find a better life elsewhere.

First... My wife is from Chile and my family immigrated from Germany. We do not consider ourselves hyphenated Americans (German-American/Chilean-American) We are Americans period.
Second... We have the flags of our home countries hanging in a room of our home. I wouldnt fly the Chilean or German flags outside our home out of respect for the people and the opportunities this country has given us. I find that most people are not opposed to immigration but rather illegal immigration and then taking it one step further, illegals demanding rights and amnesty. This angers the people who have lived in America their entire life and rightfully so.
It seems to me, you never hear about incident involving Asian immigrants and I believe this is true for two reasons. 1.) Typically, Asian immigrants are not demanding of anything and not of militant expectations from America. 2.) Asians are very good at assimilating and offering best efforts to embrace an American way of life. They do not organize marches through cities disrupting civil order protesting for their demand to be systematically made legal. Sometimes their English is not so good but I rarely hear complaints about that.
Illegal immigration does not encompass the Mexican people but because of the attention Mexicans have drawn to themselves and the over abundance of the issue, Americans have developed sometimes bitterness and can you really fault them?
My apologies, I didnt intend for as long of and answer.

Would you want me to fly an American Flag in Mexico ?

If its for your heritage or a decoration, I see nothing wrong. But if you are trying to make a statement that you are taking over, you will have trouble....
