Thank you very much! Those people have no idea how much God is doing! If only they could see! If only they knew how suffering from my illness has made me grow in the Lord! Because of of my life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, I am able to encourage others with their battle. God does so much in this world that none of us see, start looking for His hand in things, search for the good, it is there!
I don't think even flowers grow without rain!

Why? naturally because they can't stand enymore the suffering they are undergoing in, but the real problem is are they doing something about their suffering. You've asked if what am i doing to end suffering? The thing i want say about this thing is, solving the proble of suffering does not defend only in a singlke person it need the support and coordination of all people, affected or not. God himself provide us the resources and yet we tend to wait for it to come to us it is not the thing to come to to you but you to go and get the thing you need to live, justlike here in the philippines. many people attend the rally strikes in the street shouting end up poverty, could the government help them if they themselves does hel;p themselves to get out of poverty, why go to those rally and strikes why don't used the time to look for a job.
The simple things I do to end up is simple enough to be called small dust in abasketball bal. I tried to show the people in my simple way being the student the worth of education, education that I can use for my bright future, to look for a better job, and at thesame time I am a working scholar I also show them the values of work even how small it is what matters most is that it is for better.
I did not used the word tell because peoplr in our world today does have the sense of listening, that is why, why talk if they will not listen, act for them to see, as they say;
ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORD.

I'm not sure if this is *exactly* what you are saying, but I'll answer it according to how I think you are stating it.
I feel bad for the people who go on and on about some bad life experience that they've had and just won't let go. "How could God let that happen to my son/wife/tsunami victim/...etc"
If only they knew God's love for them and everyone here! It's sad that their impression of him is so wrong and they don't know he loves them.
God is a loving god and has a plan for all of us.... and that plan can seem cruel to people but when you think about it... what are you guaranteed in this life? It's a miracle that everybody reading this even got up this morning. We humans take so much for granted and ***** and moan when something doesn't work out for the 'best'.
I'd love to have my mother back. I'd love to have actual good memories of her.
Am I blaming God for taking her away and for the years of pain she endured? No.... she was a good woman and she was strengthened though it. I know that she is well taken care of in heaven :)
Next time someone thinks that God is a horrible god for allowing bad stuff to happen... they should be thankful for what they DO have and remember that someone else out there has it much worse!

Because they don't know the meaning of the almost unbearable sufferings that the Messengers of God had to bear.
Nobody can end suffering on earth. No Messengers of God promised to do so, and they have emphatically forbidden their believers to hurt other people.
True love would end suffering, but who can tell about true love and who can love truly?

They gripe because they do not understand and when we do not understand we feel helpless and we give into the temptation to cast blame. Isn't that what Satan did to lure Eve? "Didn't God tell you?" What an opening act! But God tells us he will carry us through every burden - he may not make them go away - but he will get us through them. My Daddy used to say "only pain makes for change". Stop and think about that for a minute and it's really wise. When do we decide something has got to change, when it hurts "us". So, we have to end suffering by first accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and recognizing him as the only begotten Son of God who gave his life for ours and now lives at the right hand of the Father. Then we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us each and every day and we'll be amazed at how many lives we touch that eases someones suffering. God didn't call us out to save a world - he called us out into the world one life at a time to touch and make a difference in.

Because they are looking for a scapegoat. The old argument that "It is God's Will" or "The Devil made me do it" is tired and worn out. People need to accept responsibility for their lives and for the mess the world has become. Of course, this is coming from a Wiccan who believes that we are all a part of the Divine and we alone have the power to fix the problems if we just get off our collective apathetic butts and do something about it.

I think theists have a right to complain about God, he should be able to snap his all-powerful fingers and end suffering, no?

Mainly because a lot of people don't want to admit that they were wrong, do they have to blame somebody.
Suffering is in the world because of Sin.
Read Genisis, even Adam Sinned because he didn't Stop Eve.
And what did they do? They tried to hide fromGod.

Good question!
Gandhi said "you must be the change you wish to see in the world." I think this means we have to start with ourselves and within first, in order to effect any change.
We can't put the blame on God for not riding in to save us from the things that humanity has put upon itself. God gave us free will and will not interfere with or revoke it. Once given, it is our responsibility, not God's.
