I love the sight. You know there are some people out there that think that Mexicans are not American? Mexico is a part of America, but it is just a different part of America. Thanks for putting that out there.

First off, I want to stipulate that the immigration laws are not directed towards Mexicans alone. Our boarders are being crossed by illegals from all other nations as well.

Secondly, I believe that the site looks well made , yet built on beliefs with out reason. I could write a book denouncing or debating most of what I read. The site showed me insight into the mind of someone who could only see one side. The side one has learned from his forefathers, giving no respect to the forefathers of the region they choose to run to.

There are alot of false truths in the writings and the content shows little or no research into the true aspects of reasoning.
Though the person who built this site must have put alot of time into building the site. It vividly shows very little time spent researching the actual facts.

I don't feel sorry if this offends you, but I believe one should not speak in public if they don't have all their facts straight. This site definitely does not.

Last point before I go... Most Mexicans that flee to the US do not honor their flag... just the heritage of their family... The flag denotes the pain, suffering, and demise that their own country has endured.

I don't care what race you are, if you are here your flag should be the American flag. You should be American mexicans and not Mexican americans. If you're here illegally you need to become legal. As far as the culture, I think a diversty of cultures in Americais one of the things that make America great. We need not travel far to experience many cultures. We need to be Americans first above any other nation. I am an American, my flag is American.

I think most are concerned with loyalty.

We as humans need to have compassion toward all, regardless of race, nattioal origan, etc... legal status included. I am pro illegal imigrants(they are people) but against illegally immigrating. That is a matter for the governments. The biggest problem is within Mexico, otherwise the shoe would be on the other foot. I would be crossing ilegally into Mexico. Mexico needs something besides tourism to create livable jobs.

I agree with Rich E. The legal Mexican immigrants, like my dad, do not in any way, shape or form romanticize Mexico as a country because they are unanimous in that the situation there is destitute. My dad often says he enjoys going back to Mexico to visit his family and eat good food but he would NEVER want to go back there to live, because the opportunities in the US are better and the country is safer and more stable legally, economically and politically. He does not disown his own culture, but he has accepted the reality that Mexico is not, has never been, and never will be anywhere near the nation that the US is.

The mexican culture and mexican citizens belong in Mexico. The illegal aliens are just criminals who refuse to obey the Laws of the USA.

Those who support illegal aliens invading the USA and those who employ illegal aliens are criminals also.

There is nothing to be open minded about, illegal aliens are breaking our laws. Race, heritage, culture, etc... has absolutely nothing to do with the subject. Well, maybe culture, because illegal aliens are destroying our culture.

Illegal aliens also are STEALING from America.

News Flash: Mexico is part of North America or Central America, take your pick, it is NOT part of the country that is referred to as America. That tired old ploy will not make illegal aliens OK or legal.

I am proud of my Mexican blood, my heritage, my race. But I am also embarrassed by my people who come here asking for a hand out. My father came here many years (about 48) ago. He came here to work and start a family. He has never collected welfare in any form. He became a citizen as soon as he could. He is also proud of where he came from but he does not romanticize his view of his former country. He came here because he had no chance to make anything of his life in Mexico. There is no opportunity in Mexico like here because of corruption, and graft. People protest the US government here and my father tells me how grateful he is that he no longer must deal with the truly bad government of Mexico. Mexicans come here to find work and it is embarrassing when they are not thankful to this country for how well they are treated. They think they are treated poorly, find somebody that came from South America through Mexico and ask how they were treated in Mexico? That is truth, and it is embarrassing. I have children of my own and I tell them to be proud of their heritage, they come from a people that work hard and love life. What I see in some of these protest are people who have forgotten who they are. One of the things my father always loved about the United States is the prejudice here. He always said, "the Americans are prejudice, they only love green. Get the green and they will love you." My father is a millionaire because of his efforts here. Who knows where he would be today if he would have stayed in Mexico? One thing is for sure he is glad he didn't, and so am I. I will work hard and make the best of what is dealt me but not because some people shout, "SI SE PUEDE" like fools in the streets, but because I watched my father, a Mexican, work hard all his life.

very nice, you seem very smart and well rounded, and your a good looking guy. there is nothing wrong with holding onto your heritage, the Native Americans have, as well as many other people, that is why we have China Town and Little Italy,. it is also important to hold onto your American heritage, as i see you have. good luck with your schooling and maybe you could include a picture of you girlfriend and the rest of your family on your site, i think it would be interesting.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith, becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American… There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”—Theodore Roosevelt, 1907

You can't be an American and fly a Mexican flag, go home and fly your Mexican flag. I for one don't want to see it, If you are of Mexican heritage that is fine, but you are an American first then a Mexican, just like me, I am an American first then English and German. I don't fly the union jack. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!!! can't you people understand are you that f**king stupid.
