no there are no muslim missionaries as far as i know. we teach and discuss (Jamat) only among ourselves. we do not want to go to one from home to another and preach them.
if Allah wills then a person will be a muslim by himself after reading the Quran and getting to know islam. we hate forceful conversion and it is forbidden in islam to shove ur beleifs down someone's throat.
quran Al-Kafiroon | 6 verses
I worship not that which ye worship;
Nor worship ye that which I worship.
And I shall not worship that which ye worship.
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion
xcept for some idiots like osama and crew (bunch of monkeys) who think they are missionaries.

In India we had some saints called the .Sufi saints. (and the movement cslled 'Sufism') - they were Muslims. They adopted ideas from other religions as well and were not fundamentalists.
They were quite popular with the non-muslims as well (i.e, Hindus in India) and revered as saints. One of the most famous one was called Kabir, who was a weaver by profession, but used to write poems and was a holy man as well.
I guess you may find more information in Wikipedia - I bet someone would have written it down.

I don't think there are any Muslim missionaries. It's only the Christians that pack up their stuff, travel around and try to force feed religion to anyone in need ot guidance, assistance, or a sandwich.

Yes there are but they are in a very small amount. If Muslims were supporting them as much as Christians do to their's, this world would have been a different story.

no such thing!!!! Islam is there for all to examine. if you find it suitable for you, then seek more knowledge. but i will not take my Quran in one hand and my little son in the other and go around knocking on people's doors.

indeed they do.they mostly go by the name tabligh-jammat.they mainly try to pull back wayward muslims but recently they have expanded their reach to non muslims. most people come to islam by having known some one who is muslim.,being impressed by his or her actions in this wayward society of ours.

I have never seen any Koran-waving Arabs cycling around my neighborhood either. So, how far are you from being fully brainwashed by all that Bible study?
