Of course they share components, they would be stupid not too. Like someone else said all car manufacturers get most of their parts from suppliers. Have u ever seen parking sensors? Do u notice anything, they all look alike. U can buy a Cadillac or a Lexus the sensor is made by the same company.

Toyota and Lexus are owned by the same company. Everyone with half a brain knows that. Lexus is simply a luxury line of cars. What was your question exactly?

Nearly every automobile manufactured has components that are manufactured by someone else. Most automotive air conditioner systems are manufactured by other companies.

Can't say that much about all parts. I think Toyota makes its own engines for the most part, and probably the seats and other interior components. Radios and various other components come from subcontractors of various sorts.

All auto manufacturers buy a lot of parts and items from suppliers. In San Antonio the Toyota company is finishing a truck assembly plant and many of the associated jobs are with suppliers.

Pretty normal in the business.

It may be the same parts, but there is a tremendous difference between a Camry and a Lexus. I've owned both - have you?

They are not just made by the same company, they are the same car. They just badge their luxury line as Lexus in some countries (but not in Japan for some reason).

Its the same company so why would they waste extra money on dies, molds and printing just to print labels on parts that normally only mechanics see?

Called good business practices to keep costs down for their customers.
