Screw that give us your poor crap! That's a STATUE not a STATUTE. There is a difference. If they don't want to follow our rules, they can get the hell out.

It is impractical, no matter how many border patrol agents we hire and how much money we spend, to completely shut our borders down. We now stop about one out of four attempts, and some who fail to get past on the first try have been seen making three MORE border crossing attempts during an 8-hour work shift on the part of the border patrol agents. Some of those who get through turn to crime in America. ALL illegal immigrants who commit a felony MUST be caught, punished, and deported.

If the borders had been shut, your poor, hunglry, weak ancestors would've NEVER dragged themselves on a boat and ask for citizenship!
As for the borders, shut them, if you can. It will take 20 years, but hell it's worth it.
The real problem is .. what to do with 12 mln people. You can't send them back and you can't put innocent people in jail.

YES, Close the borders entirely. No more legal immigration or guest workers until 100% of Americans are employed, no more illegal aliens period.
"Give us your weak, your hungry, your poor" applied to legal immigration, not illegal aliens.
It is a shame that the illegal alien invasion continues..... Corruption is the reason.
