Dont be so shy. If you see someone you like, do something nice for them. Even something simple as giving them a flower, lending a book, something, will get your foot in the door. When it IS, just be yourself. Don't think of her as a girl but as "one of the boys" and you won't feel so shy.
There's a saying, act the way you want to be, and soon you'll be the way you act. That doesn't mean be someone else, but be the person you want to be. Good luck!

Just be yourself....start with a normal conversation first as if you would talk to one of your guy friends...don't ever show in your eyes that you are talking because you are attracted to that girl or have intentions to date her...else she'll run away....first just talk normally.....when asking a girl out for the first time...make it sound as a very matter of fact thing...for example you can say " there's this new movie playing and i wanna see it, do you care to join"...or if you have already gauged her interest ..for example she likes musical plays then you can just say that " hey i have an extra ticket for this play..i thought of asking you if you are interested"...also on the first date just try to relax.. girls like guys who are not too eager...if you have the right chemistry thën "things" will fall right into the place...try to show her the real you inside that shy you..hope this helps buddy...good luck

If you can't say it, show it or write it. This is a first step in getting more comfortable expressing your feelings. Show it in acts of love/attention like flowers, carrying things for her, opening doors etc, write it like write a note or an e-mail letting them know you would like to get to know them better but feel a bit shy about doing it- most girls seem to think it is cute.

from experience, shy guys are usually the ones who treat girls right. just wait until a girl gets to know you. she'll see who you really are and will fall in love with you. it's so hard to become outgoing and it will change who you are so i don't recommend it. be yourself and try to ask a girl for her number and see how it goes. you'll have a lot better luck being yourself. good luck!

Stop being shy by doing something daring. Something that makes you nervous (but not dangerous) that you can push your self to conquer. Confidence is a muscle that takes practice to build.

just learn that you are just as good as everyone else. Also realize that some women are attracted to shy guys. I know I am. Just be yourself and practice approaching women. It will happen.

Getting over being shy is juts something that you have to learn...
Think to your self what do you have to gain from being shy and what do you have to loose from not acting
you have nothing to loose so you just gotta buckle up and do it.
it gets easier the more you do it and you eventually realize that everyone is just as nervious as you.
