my answer

The Christian belief that atonement can only be effected through Jesus runs counter to the provisions for atonement prescribed in the Jewish Scriptures. First and foremost, God, and no one else, provides the means of reconciliation and fellowship (2 Chronicles 7:14), which precludes any claim for atonement through the death of Jesus. In contrast to the Christian concept that man is hopelessly entrapped in sin, the Jewish Scriptures provide ample testimony that although man may have an inclination towards evil (Genesis 8:21) the means of personal reconciliation with God are always at hand (e.g. Psalms 51:16-19, Jeremiah 29:13).

I don't need to read the bible to know that there are a lot of roads all taking different paths with different scenes. Perhaps they do all lead to one point or at least to similar points.

I think it is much more important to consider how you travel the road you have chosen than to worry about what lies ahead. As long as you are happy with the scenery and your choice of road chosen then enjoy the walk and be sure to give a friendly greeting to others, regardless of their own road.

Perhaps we would all be happier if we didn't criticize others for their choice of road traveled but was willing to take a peak at their path and better examine our own. Who knows, maybe we are on the right path for us and they for them.

To know and to love God through the Teachings of the mosr recent Manifestation of God.
He fulfilled the prophecies of the previous religions.
He revealed a new Plan for world unity.
He shows the greatest example of sacrifice.
And the effects of His Divine Teachings encompass the whole world.

I'm on the road that leads to Wisdom, the road outlined in the Proverbs of the Old Testament.

"No wise man ever wished to be younger!" Confucius said. And no wise man ever wished to live forever. I want a complete and peaceful end to my soul, not a soul enslaved forever by anyone.

There are a hell of a lot more than 2 roads, and I'm not convinced that ANY of them lead to a life other than the one I'm living.

The narrow one. Tough road, but there's a lot fewer traffic jams. Less people on this road. Sadly.

There are way more than 2 roads, sweetie. And they ALL lead to death, not life. Life is the road. If you're going to use a metaphor, at least use it properly.
