Your friend is wrong.Jesus never killed anyone, according to the Bible. It's not Jesus' fault people used him as an excuse to murder millions of people.

There is some evidence to believe that Joshua ben Joseph believed himself to be a Messiah, a liberator of the Jews. As such, he was expecting a popular uprising that would have been a successful war against the Romans who occupied Palestine at the time.
Obviously, that did not work. Instead, the uprising happened a little later and the Romans wiped Israel and Judea pretty well off the map.
So, if Jesus had been the revolutionary leader expected, he would have been seen by some as a murderer. No evidence he killed anyone, however. OK, the fig tree but that was just a tree.

Where did he get an idea like that? You need to get a bible and show that friend who Jesus Christ really is. He is Oh Holy God!
He never in the physical time He was on the earth killed another human being. He healed , He fed, He raised a man from the dead. He never murdered anyone. He was the victim of a hate filled people, and this type of people with the minds of hate are in every country on the planet today. they are the ones who cause the murder and violence we see today in all the world,.

heard many things of the mythical Jesus but this is a new one ,
unless he meant the sun killing people with the heat,
Jesus was the symbolic story of Horus repeated after 6000 years and the story of Osiris,Isis and Horus was the symbolic representation of the life cycle of the Sun .
so Jesus in fact is the new Sun.

Read the Bible and see for yourself, watch the passion of the Christ and see for yourself. Look in history, take a humanities class
No Jesus is not a murderer! He loves all mankind and came down here for us... to save us, not to kill us
The Devil comes to steal, kill and to destroy.

i think of that some clever, considerate human beings have been bored stiff with the Pharisees and/or leaders of the time, and made up a collection of information approximately their finished buddy Jesus as a trend of attempting to make their international somewhat greater helpful. They studied the scripture that had formed the muse of the religious custom up till that factor, threw in prophecy-pleasing bits to grant it the hoop of divine authority, and then, beliving that the message of affection and forgiveness could replace the international for the greater helpful, took great pains to unfold the thoughts and frequently times rather died for their techniques. As for the previous testomony -- human beings have continuously sought skill. If I say "God is gazing you even whilst i'm no longer and could punish you for wrongdoing and advantages you for being reliable and basically" -- and that i can persuade sufficient of the main dazzling those that that's authentic -- I rather have skill. And if i do no longer think of the ideals are rather working, i'm getting a "prophet" to function some modifications. i do no longer think of that's far-fetched in any respect. it extremely is greater attainable to me than believing in an all-efficient being who loves us, yet refuses to coach himself and could throw right into a fiery pit for all eternity people who do no longer finally end up beliving specific issues approximately him.

The resemblances between the christian and bud-dist legends are so close that we can scarcely Imagine it to be a mere coincidence.Jesus and Buddha are both said to have been born of a "pure virgin",honoured by heavenly spirits at their birth, prayed to by kings, and loaded with presents,'happy is the whole world,'sing the gods under the form of the young brahmin,s,at the birth of the child,--as we are told in the' lalita vistara'the legendary biography of buddha, dating from before christ,'for he is indeed born who brings salvation, and will establish the world in blessed-ness. he is born who will darken sun and moon by the splendour of his merits and will put all darkness to flight the blind see, the deaf hear, the demented are restored to to reason.'"---A drews, the christ myth, page 104

Ask him to support that, it should get him to shut up pretty quick. If he gives you some 20th century historian saying to support it... that's not historical support. So, yeah, just ask him for that. Jesus was not a murderer.
