Sorry to hear about all of the stress you've been going through but there are only 2 things that can help you right now 1. Prayer 2. Time. I know u dont want to hear the time thing but truely it is the only thing that will help at this point.
Please dont turn to beer or drugs...... we have enough druggies in this world lol. But seriously, they are not the answer to any thing, they only numb you for a little while then you have to face your problems with a hang over! Also if u drink alot then later you will have another problem.......addiction.
Just find some friends that dont drink/smoke pot etc.... and see if hanging out with them will help you. Do things to get your mind off of it. Go job hunting alot, go to places where u can meet new people. Plus you gotta remember...... that job and that girl are not the only one's in the world......... keep searching. I know you can do it, uve proven that you can do any thing, after all you are going back to college after 10 years........CONGRADS!!!!!!
God bless!

This was a good question that you asked. I'm sorry to hear that you smoked pot. It sounds like you've been doing good with everything else. It creates an escape, but it only makes you lazy. "I could just do this tomorrow." or "I don't have to do that right now." I went through this myself. When I finally stopped smoking, and it DID take a good long while, I have been feeling better about myself than I have in a long time. Alcohol is another escape, but I don't do that as much now either. It makes me into a mean person. Not that I had known that I was being mean at the time, I had to learn that later on, from my family and friends. I would say that to resolve this, you need to take whatever negative energy you have right now and focus it on something a little more positive. It's good to hear that you're getting back into college. That means that you want to open your life to new things, or expand on what you already have. I'm looking into some good tech schools as well. I consider myself to be good with computers, but I have no proof of that. If I go to school for it and get the papers that say that I'm good with computers, then I really WILL be good with computers. Sorry, for going on and on, just trying to use an example. You need to choose something that you love to do and go for it with all you've got. Don't hold back, don't let drugs or alcohol slow you down (or stop you), and finally, know that your friends want to see you succeed just as much as you want to succeed. I don't really know you, but I do stand behind you because you just showed me how much you care about trying to better yourself. We all feel bad sometimes. It's easy to feel that way. It's harder to feel good, but it's easy to make OTHERS feel good, right? Well, get out there and do what you do the best way you know how, and start making OTHERS feel better. Then you will feel much better about yourself. I hope this helps you feel better. The bottom line is this: We feel better if you feel better. We try our best to help each other. That's it.

I think pot can only get in your way of feeling better on a regular basis. Once it is out of your system you are back to square one. I'm having some emotional problems as well. I try to keep my diet free of red meats and still get enough protiens and complex carbs. I try to get out in the sun for 20 minutes in a day and also get at least 30 minutes of exercise. Exercise counts even if you just walk around the block a couple of times. It takes time an deffort so be patient with yourself and know all things must pass. Good and bad. It is the way of nature.

Getting high is a way to escape your problems, but not a resolve. Hit them head on...do good for yourself, get back in school, take pride in the things you are doing for yourself and the rest will fall in line. Good luck, ok?
