That depends, because with friends it is pretty difficult to have a relationship with each other. Any problems with the relationship will bring awkward situations between the both of you and your other friends.
Also, there's a category that we place with some women. Some we classify as girl friend material and wife material. maybe you don't match with what they are looking for....?
You must first have a "connection" with a person with shared interest, hobbies, or similar personality. With that connection, your friend may then fall for you or something else may develop from your friendship.

Maybe they're intimidated by you. I'm the same way, and it drives me CRAZY! I take a lot of time to look good, and I have my own opinions so I'm not an air-headed girl... People tell me that the only reason that I'm just a friend to guys and not a girlfriend is because I'm intimidating. What's your personality? Maybe you're really opinionated and guys don't feel smart enough for you.

You may look too nice. Guys may not have the guts to ask you out. If I see a pretty girl walks by, of course i want to get her. But thinking twice , i think i won't go after. It's too good to be true. =P
Or maybe you are nice but lacking of the skill seducing people. We are humans...animals the bottom line. Show some legs or your sexy side, but some perfume. May be u will see the difference

I have the same problem, I have guy friends that tell me I'm beautiful and will be a good wife/mom someday but are never interested. I don't put out so that could be why...I'm the girl they bring home to mom and I'm 18..so they don't want the girl they bring home to mom yet. :( That's probably the same thing for you too :) Good luck girl and God has your guy in mind, just be patient!! :) God bless ya! :)

Tough question.....maybe you are too much the little sister. Had a friend like that in High School.....She was just every ones buddy, even though she was cute.
Come to think of it I thought of asking her out a few times, but I was afraid what others would of thought.

As a guy, I also run into this situation and have the theory that it is because I am always myself and don't put up any fronts. People like that in friends but not always in lovers.

Maybe they are too shy to show their feelings and you are a real good friend to them and they know it. If you want them to look at you differently, look deep into their eyes. Good luck.
