You are doing properly by exercising, but you probably need more cardio. Obviously you need to burn some fat.

Don't worry about what the others said about bigger muscles making you look even larger. In fact, increased muscle mass will cause your body to burn fat more easily.

It could be that you are not exercising hard enough. Many make the mistake of thinking that 20 reps are better somehow. In fact, you will grow muscle faster if you select a weight which causes you to fail at 4 to 6 reps. So you might try going heavier on the weight. Here is a free training course that you can follow that works well for those who follow it.

Nothing will help you more than getting a handle on diet. I'm not really sure what you mean when you say that your chest is too big - you wouldn't be doing mass building exercises for a chest that's too big would you?

At any rate; yes, walking and other cardio exercises - anything that's giving your heart a workout is going to help you lose fat while you're working out and quite a while afterwards too. You're right that once you start losing weight, everything will start to diminish. There's no way you can isolate a muscle group or region of your body for weight loss. You CAN, however, isolate a muscle group for strength or mass.

If you wanted definition in your chest, you would keep your muscles busy going from dumbell press to the machine press at various inclines (even declines).

But if losing extra fat is priority, it's portion control and staying away from processed foods.

Well ,have you done any bench presses?I think that might help, but if it doesn't ,go to www.sparkspeolpe.com and get some info on losing weight and how it can effect your whole body.meaning how it can effect the growth or decreasing of muscles.I'm pretty sure when you lose weight that your body will become proportional.but i don't think that just because you didn't emphasize on working on your chest it grew bigger,i think when you do something like walk a mile a day you are basically working on your whole body ,not just your leg or something.

Good luck with everything!!!!

You can build all the muscle you want on your chest but it aint gonna shrink it, if anything, its gonna make it look bigger cause the extra muscle is pushing your chest up, the best thing to do is not try to target your chest cause you are just going to build muscle, which is usually good, but if you just wanna lose fat and make it smaller, you should lose the fat first.

Your chest is hard to target for just fat loss, instead you gotta look at overall fat loss, just stick with walking, running, riding a bike, elypticals, and healthy diet... all that yada yada.

Cardio and healthy diet is always a good way to go, I have a really good diet plan, strict, but good, you can lose about 1lb a day if you really stick to it, if you want it email me and ill email it 2 u
