A used Toyota Corolla. We've got two - one with 300,000 miles on it, and one that just rolled 200,000. Just regular maintenance, and they've never left us on the side of the road.

Oh, yeah, and we get 35-40 MPG. Suck on that Hummers!

Any Honda or acura..

i bought both my acura integras for under 7K (my first car 96 Integra coupe..my new car 98 integra sedan.) paid 6K in 2003 for the coupe, and 7K in 2006 for the sedan with 52K miles on it..both @ dealers

I recommend the integra to the fullest..there VERY reliable..and ive never had a single problem with them.

Ive seen them sell from 3K-8K depending on model/trim
