Cacti grow in hot dry deserts naturally.

Mangroves grow in swamps along with the Venus fly-traps.

No trees grow on the tundra zone of a mountain. Only some short plants like eidelweiss grow there.

Tropical plants like banana trees grow in tropical areas chiefly. Some may be able to grow in sub-tropical areas like Hong Kong.
