What grade are you in during the summer time?

Question

During the three summer months between new school years, do you still hold the title of the grade you just completed? Or do you automatically upgrade to the grade you are going into when the next school year starts? I just finished the 10th grade in June, so am I a sophomore? Or a Junior, since I am going into the 11th grade in 2 weeks?? Just wondering, b/c when people ask me what grade I'm in, I tell them all that, b/c I don't want them assuming I am in a grade lower than I actually am....

I say I am going into whatever grade, like when someone asks, I say "Going into 9th" But I still consider myself an eigth grader until I step foot into that High School

Oh ya! somewhat with determination and concentration. My 13 12 months previous is winding up 2 grades this 12 months. of path it is an entire 12 months. To do it in one summer would be particularly a feat. stable luck.

I didn't start considering myself the next grade level I'd be starting in September until after Junior year when I'd be becoming a senior. I think either way is acceptable and is up to personal preference.

If you have completed 10th grade, you are now in 11th grade or a rising Junior.

"Officially" you are promoted a grade level as soon as grauation is over. That applies in college as well. Just say you are a rising "whatever" during the summer.

OMG I HATE THAT!
i just tell ppl that i am not in a grade right now and that if they want to ask again in however many months til september i will be in 9th grade
