He is 45 and I am 35 he was married before with a lady way older than him...why it is to important my age?

Why he is so insecure he keeps rejecting me on count of my age he thinks I will end up hurting him...but I know he cares for me alot...because he looks for me and sometimes he hates himself and he tells me if I am sure to end up my life with a old folk like him...what I should do ...I like him alot

maybe he got some bad memories with younger girls thats y he marries old woman. ask him and show him how u want to be with him, not tell him.
