Truth? Jesus said " I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me."
Truth is truth! It is not influenced by what people believe. Die in sin, without accepting Jesus as your saviour, you go to hell, NO MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE! God exists, NO MATTER WHAT ATHIESTS believe.
However there is a big difference between truth and facts.
Facts - what your five sences tell you about everything.
Truth - what the bible tells you about everything.
Go with the truth, every time!

All living creatures have a soul so yes, I believe that animals go to heaven. If they weren't that important why did Noah take them into the ark. Just for food? Who ate snake for supper? I'd rather there weren't snakes in Heaven but I bet they'll be there. I do believe that all intelligent life forms die and move on in their journey of knowledge and growth. I do believe that some human life will progress whether they deserve it or not. All will be judged and a lot will be found wanting. Truth for you may be different from my truth but there are certain facts that are true for everyone.

Don't know who would be right...but they can't both be "truth"...either pets DO go to heaven or they DON'T. The only way there could be two truths there is if pets go to heaven for people who believe they do, but they don't for people who believe that they don't.
Now you got me all confused...

Who is right and wrong.
First of all. I have no truth. You have no truth. ONLY GOD HAS TRUTH.
I can scripturally show you my pets and all animals are going to heaven.
You CAN'T show me where they are not.
Animals as well as humans have souls. The soul means the person or animal themselves. Animals will go to heaven, Not through salvation. Animals souls don't need redemption. Animals never sinned. Man did, Man needs a redeemer. Jesus Christ.
Gen. 1:20, 21, 24, 25: “God went on to say: ‘Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls* . . . ’ And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. . . . And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds . . . ’ And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind.” (*In Hebrew the word here is ne'phesh. Ro reads “soul.” Some translations use the rendering “creature[s].”)

These are beliefs. Not truth, unless you go to heaven and come back to tell us about it. I think we are better off spending our time and energy working on the things we do here and now, rather than trying to prove impossible questions for no actual goal. All Life has to come up with a Net Creative usefulness to nature, or it goes extinct. How we behave in our efforts to create more usefulness than we consume in resources is up to us, and we can either compete with imaginary dilemmas like the one you proposed, or we can cooperate to treat each other and the Life around us with care and respect (even if we are going to eat it).

Okay...first of all, I believe that animals go to heaven...If they don't , I'll be broken-hearted. But here's the thing,friend...maybe we are ALL right. Maybe each person has their own truths that safe-guard their lives. Maybe, as long as we don't insist on our own way...maybe that's ok. Someone once said that "a fanatic is one who won't change his mind and can't change the subject."
I wish you the best in your search for YOUR truths.

Well...I belive that there are 3 sides to the truth. Yours, theirs and the truth. As far as pets going to heaven...I believe that they do.

Look up "Agnosticism" (It's more than, "I don't know" religion)
The answer to your question about pets is, "I don't know and neither can anyone so both opinions are wrong.
But that is a good thing. I've realized recently that life is dynamic. So your opinion is very powerful. What you believe is magical. What matters is that we all try. The biggest problem is lameness. Nature is dynamic, let's all do the dance/war whatever and everything will be fine.

The existence of God is an Absolute Truth (not a relative truth).
The concept that All truth is Relative is rationally incoherent (as you are implying if I understand you correctly).
Cordially,
John

The real truth is what you personally see and experience after you pass. Not everyone's experience will be the same either, so there is more than one truth.
