Hey I know what my kids need to but I like to be asked and thanked not taken for granted. As to the devil, he'll get his in time. God is patient. When you live forever time has little meaning. And we Catholics believe that Hell is the absence of God.

First, I know the point of prayer is the same as the point of all the thoughts we have.... to create the reality that we see before us! Everything we experience is dependent on how we perceive and what we believe. I also believe that all concepts of Hell, Devil, God (that exists seperate from anything else) and especially any Religion that promotes those ideas are laughable. God IS all knowing, all powerful, and all present for God encompasses all that is, if you ARE it, you KNOW it!

He knows everything but there are somethings he wont do unless we pray(or fast and pray), cause prayer strengthens our relationship with him.
He beats the Devil every time someone gets saved and when the world ends the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity(his ultimate punishment)
The bible states If I go to the pit of hell, behold you(God) are there, so He is all-present
I really hope this info helped you.

1) The point of prayer is one of both submission and faith. God wants you to choose Him, coming to him for your needs.
2)He will beat the darn devil, be patient, its not the end of the Book yet.
3)He is all present knowing and seeing all things on earth in Heaven and Hell.

He does know your every need but he likes for us to talk to him. We should pray like Jesus, God's son did. It's called Worship. If you Worship Him and pray to him everyday and Praise him, you don't have to "ask" him for anything because you will be blessed. He is going to beat the devil in the end. Maybe you could read the book of Revelations. You'll need to get, "The Good News" Bible so maybe you will understand it a little better. He is not in hell. He is in heaven. Even though you are questioning him, He loves you very much. That's why he sent His son, Jesus to earth. Jesus is God in human form that came to earth to see why it was so hard to be a human being because we screw up all the time. He understands us and loves us and all we have to do is accept Jesus as the son of God, worship him and Praise him. Good luck to you and God Bless you.

The point of prayer is to change us.
God has beat the devil by means of redemption, forgiveness, mercy and grace.
I guess in a manner of speaking, Jesus went to hell and back to secure our salvation. He defeated death. I think He did away with the need for the hadean world.

Prayer is for us to pray to Jesus when we sin. To ask for forgiveness and to learn and to feel whole
Because he gives us a choice. We can be on his side or the devil's.
Probably not....He is holy.
All the people in hell had a chance and those choose to turn their backs on God. Once your there it's game over.

PRAYER-- Giving time devoted to talking with God.
POWER-- Man was given free will. And temptation is present to see which path we will ultimately choose.
PRESENT-- Who said hell was a physical place???

He will beat the devil. When the time is right. He is waiting for satan to impersonate Jesus second coming. Prayer is for us. It is to change us. God is not a blessing machine. Prayer is for us to converse with God.
