if you tell someone how you feel about them, how do you know that the will not freak out?

I recently was in the same situation with a guy...I liked him but was afraid to freak him out so I kept my feeling a secret. But, I finally realized that hiding my feelings and lying about them to this person was hurting me more than helping and I couldn't keep doing it, so I just told them. It has been my experience that being honest is better than lying. Who knows, she might feel the same but is afraid to tell you as well. It is all in what you can handle...is just being her friend going to be enough? Chances are she will eventually figure out that you like her anyway, and wouldn't you rather just tell her?

Dont be scared. If you be honest with her then she will understand. Just tell her how you feel about her. Dont kep things on the inside it hurts. You never know she might have the same feelings back for you. So tell her how you feel. Nothing can go wrong with honesty.

Dude freakin tell her. Girls love to talk about feelings. Just mean what you say cause she'll remember, and probably throw back everything at you in an argument later. Just a little FYI.

Just don't come on too strong like saying I'm falling for you hard, or I love you or other things like that. Be casual, start a conversation with her and ask her out or mention your interested in her and would like to get to know her better. If that goes smoothly then ask her out on a date.
