The ability to cook is a major one. Another is a Culinary School Graduate, which is not a requirement but is a plus. Also, if they look like Orlando Bloom, then that is a definite plus. LOL

i DONT KNOW HOW THEY WORK, BUT FOR ME, MODERN CHEF SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
(1) KNOWLEDGEABLE in Quality control raw materials used.
(2) Food Diet
(3) Delivery time

~~Creativity, so you can use what's in season, what's on sale, or what's different
~~Ability to work within budget confines
~~Ability to find and keep good people you can delegate work to
~~Ability to multitask (or be ADHD and not on meds! LOL)
~~No desire to have Friday or Saturday nights off, and still be able to get up and have a brunch going Sunday morning by 8 AM.
