I got spanked a lot as a kid (and I do mean a lot) so it's kind of hard to remember exactly which one was the last, but once when I was 14 we were at a family picnic and I mouthed off to my mom. My dad took me into the barn, made me drop my pants and strapped my bare butt with his belt. Unknown to either of at at the time, my little brother had followed us into the barn and watched the whole thing. Most of my family was at the picnic and I am sure just about everyone heard it. Maybe not the last one but definitely the most humiliating.
Yes I deserved it, and no, I don't hate or resent my parents.

I am 62 now,but I have never spanked by anybody in my life.May be I am a very good person (smile). To tell the truth Japanese culture has no spanking.My husband is an American and we have 3 sons.If our children did something bad,my husband said "spank him."That is the toughest things to do for me and I avoided as often as possible.I just said "NO,no!!!"with firm voice.That worked. All of three grew up to be a fine young man and a good citizen.

last time i can remeber was when I was 5 I threw a rock at my uncles car and busted his head light! got spanked that was the only time I ever remeber being spanked! My parents didnt believe in spankin..it was my uncle that actually spanked me! my parents weren't mad, my uncle apalogized and he felt really bad! but i must say i did deserve it....lol...
I dont spank my kids, but they are very respectable of other people and use manners all the time!

around 12 or 13 my mother was strict i often got spankings for things i didnt do but i dont resent her for it alot of her discipline has guided me the right way

i was 7 my dad blamed me for something i didnt do then he felt really bad and he never spanked me again....i still think that he should have asked my mom if she spilt the cool aid cuz she went out of the room to get the towel wet and by then my dad had already spanked my mom made him feel soooo bad

I was 21 when my father last struck me. I went to the police station and pressed charges against him. I still resent him.
Some parents spank to punish and correct behavior, which I guess is OK. I think when I have children, I will sit them in time out and take away privileges rather than hit them.

10 years old, Spanking caused me to get more upset after that.
