A girl should stay a virgin till she is fully aware of the biological and psychological needs of her body and also how to prevent pregnancy.Sex is best enjoyed with the person you really love and when you have no fear. Also the first experience matters the most, it leaves a permanent effect on the mind,weather good or bad.

Until the age she is old enough to get married. It's real simple. If she is too young to get married, she is too young to have sex. Not saying she has to wait for marriage. But she certainly shouldn't be having sex with any man who is not a candidate.
Failure to follow this basic rule has real potential to completely destroy your daughter. This is no joke. A woman has a limited shelf life of fertility. She cannot waste any of her time with inappropriate sexual activity or relationships with inferior men or boys. You need to instill in her at a very young age that she is to get educated and then find a high quality man to marry and children with at a young age (between 20 and 25). That man should be older than her by about 5 to 15 years, educated, well off and have no bad habits. If she fails in this (usually by screwing scumbags until she gets too old) she will have to settle for the first loser who wants her or worse, end up with a scumbag that impregnated her one day while she was acting like a whore. Throw drug use into the equation and she could actually BE a whore (this actually happened to one of my neighbors).

At least until she is out of high school. I was almost 20 and engaged. I'm not with that guy anymore, but the point is... don't do it just because some guy says you have to if you love him. Sex is meant to be a mutual decision, enjoyed by both, and handled responsibly. And frankly, kids in high school are not up to it yet.

Until she's ready and knows about the possible consequences and how to avoid them. I had a friend who always said that virginity is a decease so get vaccinated! It's not true, but it's funny.

Until she meets the right guy. While I respect the opinions of those who disagree with me, I personally don't think it's a good idea to wait for the wedding night. It all depends on the girl, the guy, their relationship and a million other factors. Sex is serious business - not something that should be flung around carelessly or withheld for arbitrary reasons. It requires great maturity and personal awareness. Good luck.

Preferably until she marries, but we all know that doesn't happen, much. So, she and him, need to be absolutely positive they know what they are getting into. You can't take it back. It's not about the sex, it's about being able to be mature about it. It's a huge step in life.

A girl doesn't fully develop her sexual organs until she is 16. But a girl should wait until she learns what sex is, until she knows about contraceptives and the consequences like having a baby, STI/STD's, possibly getting her feelings hurt and finally when she knows she is ready. Really one cannot pressure another to do what they don't want to.
Also, it depends if religion, beliefs and her morals imply.

Until she is SURE she is ready, is on the pill, has found the right guy, and when she knows that guy will wear a condom even if she is on the pill.
