Context:

A nation will become big and trustworthy if it place a very high priority on building and developing its human resources from the childhood times.

I meant the country would take care of the children/kids in regards with their education and etc. Does the "from the childhood times" sound okay for English native speakers in the whole context?

"the childhood times" is not a phrase that is ever used by english speaking people. The correct phrase would be "during childhood." And you can't refer to the people as "human resources." You are referring to the people or the population.

This is one way that you could say it:

A nation will grow and become more trustworthy if it allocates more resources on the population during their childhood years.

one would sat the phrase "from childhood".

A better way to write that entire paragraph would be

A nation that focuses it's resources on it's citizens when they are children will result in a country that will become successfull and trustworthy.

Although not exactly how I would personally write it.
