She should be deported, and the CBS poll I saw on it ran 86% that way, last time I saw it.
There are two sides of the border where a family reunification can occur, and it is entirely her choice which side of it her son will be on. No one is separating her from him. She may choose to leave him behind, however.
Latest, she is becoming a focus for national pro-illegal groups.

This is a tough situation since her kid is a citizen, but she should definately be arrested and put in prision for a few years then I don't know what cause you don't want to split up mother and son forever, but if you do nothing this is what the rest of the illegals will be doing next. It is a no win situation for those who obey they law and come here legally and the American citizens themselves. This is bring to light more border issues.

She became a criminal when she illegally entered the USA, she continued her illegal activities from that point on because everything an illegal alien does in the USA is a continuation of the illegal entery crime.
Law enforcement should go in and arrest her and those who are giving her sanctuary. She and her child should be deported to her country of origin. No amnesty, no birthright citizenship for chlidren of illegal aliens. These illegal aliens do think the law does not apply to them....
