if somebody published cartoons depicting buddha, or Jesus in some weird way, the buddhists and the christians would not mind. the most they would do is complain a little. but for the muslims, they go crazy, rioting, people get killed. death sentences are issued. why are they like that? is the religion based on so much death and destruction, that even a little criticism cannot be tolerated? it sounds like a very intolerant religion to me.
if the da vinci code was about their prophet, i can guarantee u, a few fatwas would have been issued. can anybody deny this, no. because people know its true. thats why, it makes me sad to think that unlike other religions, that people respect and honor, when it comes to islam, people fear it. a religion based on fear. that is not right.

If Muslims were depicting Jesus in a negative light, I assure you there would be outrage.
Why do people in the West think it is acceptable to make decisions that help impoverish the people of the Middle East, then wonder why some Muslims riot when we denigrate their most sacred prophet?

It is not allowed to depict the Prophet Muhammad, according to Muslim's teaching. Where I come from, Muslims only complain and a few rallied. No violence or rioting.

It's because Satan made all major sins seem like little things in the eyes of disbelievers.
There is hardly anything sensitive into non-believers eyes.
Insulting prophets is little thing.
Dressing nude is little thing.
Gayism & Lesbianism is little thing.
Premarital sex is little thing.
So you will see eerything as little. Because your God died for your sins. Every sin is little thing! No big thing out there!
In Islam, every sin is important enough to stay away from. Insulting prophets, whether it be Jesus or Muhammad, is a fatal sin.

All religions are hyper-sensitive to anything against them. They all preach tolerance and understanding, yet they all come unglued at the first sign of attack.
Try to remove the word god from the Pledge of Allegiance in the US - the religious nuts go berserk.
Screw all religions. They're all B.S. and all fall apart under scientific investigation. The emotional outbursts prove they're ridiculous.

Islam is central in the lives of Muslims. Other religions are not really practiced that well. its true that most people are just secular so they don't feel too bad when u depict their religion in a bad way.
But for Muslim's, if u attack Islam, you attack them. Islam cannot be secular. i think thats why Muslims are so sensitive when people make fun of their beloved Prophet (pbuh) or their religion. the love for it is so great that they will defend it with their lives.
humans are so weak when it comes to love.

Anyway, I guess they care more. Some muslims as example pray 5 times everyday. If man worship God so much, he probably cares more.
