I ignore his phone calls and call him all sorts of names. He just does not take no for an answers. Why would he still be calling me if he knows that i don't like him anymore? He said we should be friends, and he wants to keep in touch with me, and we are going to be friends for life... when i call him bad names he takes it and doesn't say anything to me... that puzzles me.

That must be super annoying and it sounds very irritating. To be frank i would probably laugh my *** off, every time he called. Maybe you should consider the fact of becoming his friend.or you could keep this up until he either gives up and stops calling you, or becomes more stubborn and arrogant about it and makes it a habbit. It could be that he has nothing else to do besides bugging you and pissing you off.If you have any other guy friends tell them to threaten this guy into not calling you anymore.or get a knife and threaten him yourself. But that is just MY advice.I mean if you don't go to the extremes then maybe you don't find him as irritating. Are you certain you don't enjoy him insisting so much?MAYBE IT'S A LOAD OF CRAP AND HE STILL LIKES YOU. Who knows...you sure you don't have feelings for him???still??? but oh well you can do whatever the hell you want. I wish you good luck!!!!!

He's checking to see if you're serious about not wanting to be with him. Based on what you said in your question it seems to me that he can't handle being friends at this point in time. He might like you too much. He takes your namecalling because for him any interaction with you is better than none. He would rather be called names than not hear your voice.

Stop answering his calls if you want him to stop. Put him out of his misery. Simple. Answer his phone call one more time, politely without namecalling explain to him that you're not into him anymore, and ask him to stop calling you. Don't pick up if he calls again. That's the key. Don't pick up even once after you ask him to stop calling. If you do he will continue calling, especially if you pick up sometimes and not other times.

Obviously, he is in denial.....Maybe get someone else to tell him to rack off. It happened to me many years ago.
This guy still likes you. Just be careful, he could start storking you.
If you do not want to be friends with him, be strong and tell him to get lost and tell him if he keeps ringing you up that you will ring the police. That might scare him off.
Good Luck

I wouldn't call him names. Call the police and tell them he is harrassing you. People who obsess on you could be dangerous. Don't go out alone.

See if you can get a message to him that this is abuse. Maybe you can block his number? I think that you need to get caller ID and stop answering.
