No, but to some extent, I can empathize. My son was in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. No communication was the worst and I think that has improved a little. God bless you, your Mom and the rest of your family. Let's all pray for peace.

My boyfriend's dad is over there right now. My boyfriend knows what you're going through. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have a parent in Iraq, but I know there are people out there who feel your pain.

I have a son who has been to AFG twice, Iraq twice (the 2nd time was to train their Army) and soon will be going to AFG for a 3d time, for a year. He has small children and they think it sucks pretty bad too.

Don't resent it. Learn to be your own person. It's got to be done sooner or later, might as well be now. If you are 15, it's time, if you are 8, well, you're right, it sucks.

No, I have no parents in Iraq.

Bless you and your mom. She's doing a wonderful job for all of us. Be proud of her and support her. She needs you to do that.'
