In college I shared a printer with my roommate and had to install a program (HP). Now that I no longer live with her and the printer, I want to uninstall the program and have been mostly successful, except for this one component called HP Image Zone Express. Is there any free program I can use to remove it?

If using the add/remove programs doesnt work, then try this program called unlocker. Its free and you can pretty much get rid of anything you dont want. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/

Have you done an advanced search:
Start > search > all files and folders > type in file name > Look In: My computer > More Advanced Options: check mark first three items > run search. Highlight and delete any files or folders found with the program name.
If you feel comfortable editing the registry:
Start > run > type in regedit > click OK
When Registry Editor screen appears use Ctrl + F to access "Find" dialog box
Type in same program name you used in advanced search
Click on "find next"
If editor finds a match, click delete then confirm
Click function key F3 to "find next"
Continue delete, confirm, F3 until registry says "search finished"

There could be something incorrect with this methodology you desire to uninstall. So it extremely is going to ask for a source at the same time with insert a disk whilst uninstalling it. if so, appropriate Unnstaller will help you actual do the job and do away with it out of your laptop for it extremely is can uninstall corrupted courses. reliable success!

u could use:
-'add/remove programs'. sometimes it may not catch it all
-check the program group. sometimes it has it's own uninstall prgm
-search the registry 4 things that look close 2 the prgm name
-if you 'ctl-alt-del', chk task mgr for something that looks close 2 the prgm name and end the process. then i'd do a windows search of the hd and look 4 that '*.exe'.
maybe it would get u n the right direction

Another option is to use the "find" function to locate it and then use explorer to go there and remove it there.
