A sick mind can find ways to justify anything. If a person is living in a fantasy borne of there own mind, who says that they cannot fantasize about hearing voices telling them what to do. From there it is just a small hop for them to then say it must have been GOD's voice, which thereby validates their behavior, in their minds. People justify slavery because it was a common practice in the bible and probably long before then. However, to justify it as something to be tolerated or paracticed now is just misplaced thinking. No one should be a slave to anyone. There is only one master and that is GOD and he is master of all. I wish we could go back and change history so no one would have needed to suffer, however we can't. All we can do is learn from the mistakes of our forefathers and not make them again.

Because people are weak and instead of owning up their evil doings they blame God or Satan or whomever else. Remember in the Garden of Eden Adam told God that Eve gave him the apple. Although true, he still ate of it and then look what happened. We, being Adam's descendants get to live in this fallen world full of rape slavery and murder. Don't blame God, blame ourselves. But thank the Good Lord He sent his son Jesus to forgive us our sins that we may be justified by faith. But we must repent and trust in Jesus to save us from that horrible day of the Lord which every man will be accountable for giving a testimony for every evil thing he has ever done in word, thought or deed against a just and holy God. I tremble at the idea of how many people are not saved through the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Because they hear voices and are crazy. My sister was a probation officer, and often talked to killers in prison for some reason or another. They always blame it on someone else, parents, etc., but in the long run, they would just look at her through these deep empty eyes, and say, "Hell, I just enjoyed it". Do you believe that, yes, Satan works with these types of people because they are weak and very vulnerable to evil. The more you disbelieve, the more vulnerable you become. If you have God in your life, then you have backup. It is your choice.

The voice they heard was not that of God. Most evil comes from an immoral upbringing. It takes a long time for a person to be conditioned to care nothing of others and to selfishly pursue their own satisfaction. I begins when they are babies and the parents do nothing but let the child raise itself, giving it no boundaries and no way of knowing self discipline. There are people who have children but do not know anything about raising children and do not look for ways to learn through groups, agencies, magazines etc. When a child grows and they get beaten for doing something they didn't know was wrong in the first place, then they just feel hate anger rage and it grows then is taken out on others. It is sad that we are not required to take parenting classes in school.

What is your basis to say that.I think in line with Islamic teaching we can not justify any rape, slavery and unslavery.Raping is an adultery which is strictly forbidden by our God Almighty.Slavery should be wiped out or abolished in this world. Raping slavery is the act like animal.Raping is an uncontrolled desires which is influenced by satans.Murdering without strong and valid reason is also prohibited..Someone who killed others without reason should be killed also, except the died family forgave the killer..God spoke we should make peace ,help and love each other,We can murder our enemy who make the first war as our retaliation.God hates raping and slavery so it is strictly prohibited.

What most religious people don't realize is that the devil does nothing that God doesn't allow! This is why you have what is called divine intervention where some devilish act occurs, God intervenes and saves the day. If God doesn't intervene, then whatever happened he wanted to happen!! That goes for murder, rape, drug abuse, natural disasters, etc... Read Isaiah 45:7, God created evil!! So evil is Gods will!! Use your minds!!

Slavery of The Bible was NOT the same as the slavery we know in Modern Times, and it wasn't permanent, according to commandment.

Rape, and Murder are Never permitted in Scripture, and carried a death sentence, so I would have to tell you that those who justify it are influenced by The Evil One ! ( There, I didn't say Satan ! Happy ?)

People justify their sin all they want, and any can up and to the point that they stand before God and give a reckoning for the deeds done in the body and the foolish words they speak! Then they will be silent! Their ability to justify destroyed!

Easy way out. You don't have to deal with the responsibility if you can blame it on God or Satan. I guess a lot of people can't really handle the consequences of their own actions.

It might be that these are justified in the bible and in some cases ordered by god, it could also be that the christian faith attracts and agrees with the experiences of those who are "guided by voices" whether they believe the voices to be God or Satan.
