Whirlingmerc, you're on the right track. Anyone else care to elaborate on his first remark?

Since the question puts the divine name in quotes, this question is actually asking about the age of the WORD rather than the age of Almighty God.

It is impossible to know for sure, but there are enormous amounts of evidence that the English-language name "Jehovah" was in common use by the 1600's.

I'll elaborate on the "JW" comment.
Nobody knows for sure how the name of God was originally pronounced. In the Hebrew language, the writers wrote only consonants—not vowels. YHWY were the consonants for
God's name. While ancient Hebrew was an everyday spoken language, this wasn't a problem. The pronunciation of the Name was familiar to the Israelites and when they saw it in writing they supplied the vowels without thinking (just as, for an English reader, the abbreviation "Ltd." represents "Limited" and "bldg." represents "building")

A superstitious idea arose among the Jews that it was wrong to say the divine name out loud and eventually the ancient Hebrew language itself ceased to be spoken in everyday conversation. Because of these two reasons, the original Hebrew pronunciation of God's name was eventually forgotten.

Even though the modern pronunciation Jehovah might not be exactly the way it was pronounced originally, this does not detract from the importance of the name. It identifies the Creator, the living God, the Most High to whom Jesus said: "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified."(Matthew 6:9)

Should we stop using the name of Jesus because most of us, or even all of us, do not really know its original pronunciation?

technically Jehovah is not a real word... it is from the consonants of YHWH and vowels of adonai with a germanic twist... sorry JW's.. tellin it like it is

as far as how old is God...

Hee is the 'ancient of days'
in the begining God (was there)
He is the I AM before there was time

God is older than any measure of time you can have and exists from eternity to eternity
he is the begining and the end

if it helps picture a circle... see a begining or end...no
there you have it

Why are you directing this question at Christians. Jehovah is an Old Testament name, you should direct it Hebrews as well.

Unseen forces are a constant.
Genetic frequencies are constants.
Quarks are a changing constant.
But time and space?
They are just by-products of creation.
Time forms because atoms can't
solidify simultaneously. And space
only goes in circles.

He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is not held by time so He is ageless. Time was created for us at the time of creation.

Are you asking about the Name or about God ?

About the Name I really do not know, and I think nobody here on this site can tell you.

As for God, He is Ageless.
