Christians believe in the trinity which is Three people as one God. So its God the Father, God the Son{Jesus} and God the Holy Spirit. So basically you're worshipping 3 Gods in One. I hope that was clear.

Finally someone asks. I agree with you. I can't wait for the responses. Hosea 13:4 says God is the only one to worship and there is no other savior but me. And Gods word does not change. It always did seem to me that if it was so important to have Jesus as a savior..there would have been some commandment that said that a savior was coming and that it will eventually be the most important commandment for salvation.

I Worship God and Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. There is a difference. God is the Creator, Jesus is the son of the creater on Earth. The savior. The scrifical lamb sent by God so that we don't have to sacrifice anymore.

Jesus is god, or so goes the arguement. God IN the flesh is Jesus. But the point is, the flesh of Jesus (which died) was not jesus, but rather his flesh; so you don't worship the man, you worship the soul of the man, for the soul was what could do everything. That being said, STOP PUTTING PICTURES OF JESUS UP GAWDDAMNIT, THAT'S IDOL WORSHIP!

And if you think that Jesus' body was God, then god died and got stabbed and the like, and if you believe he did it by his own hand then stop blaming the Jews and the Romans.

There's a lot of arguements, and I have a lot of counter arguements. Bring it on.

Yeah, good question isn't it. The only ones who worship Jesus are Trinitarians, who believe that God and Jesus are the same person.

The Trinity isn't mentioned anywhere in the Bible, it's a pagan doctrine that was shoehorned into Christianity at the First Council of Nicaea in AD325 by the Roman Emperor Constantine who "converted" to Christianity for political reasons.

The early christians were strict monotheists.

Because Jesus is basically the same as God.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each are different parts of the entity we lump under the name God.

Jesus is the Son part of the equation. Worshiping Jesus is worshiping God, worshipping God is worshipping Jesus. Get it?

Christians don't necessarily worship Jesus, they worship God through Jesus.

Alright, I'll give this a shot. I'm a lapsed Catholic, but I thought a lot about it and did some reading. God is infinite, in all scopes and therefore there is nothing that cannot be done by God. God does not obey the laws of the material world. Therefore, God can be many and one at the same time. I know, its really unsatisfying.

I totally agree with the H20 analogy. God starts out from the very beginning reffering to himself as a three part being. He is not human, he is not designed like you and I. I worship God no matter what form he happens to be in.
Oh, and who is blaming the Jews and Romans for Jesus' death, it was all part of the plan. As far as I am concerned my sin is to blame!
