I HAVE BEEN DATING THIS GUY FOR 8 MONTHS...I LOVE HIM & HE LOVES ME....BUT I HAVE BEEN RETHINKING THE RELATIONSHIP LATELY....FIRST OFF, HE HAD A JOB FOR THE 1ST MONTH WE WERE TOGETHER SINCE THEN HES BEEN IN & OUT OF WORK I KNOW ITS HARD TO FIND A GOOD JOB SO I AM TRING TO BE PATENT WITH HIM BUT ITS GETTING REALLY HARD! HE DOES COOK DINNER SO THAT I CAN EAT AFTER WORK. 2ND OFF... HE LIVES WITH ME AND ALWAYS OFFERS TO HELP WITH THE BILLS, BUT I NEVER SEE ANY MONEY ( SO I AM PAYING ALL THE BILLS )... I WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK AND I HATE COMING HOME & SEEING HIM JUST SITTIN ON THE COUCH (MY COUCH) 3RD OFF..... HE HAS THESE LOOKS THAT HE GETS WHEN I ASK HIM TO DO SOMETHING..OR WHEN MY PARENTS/BROTHER COME OVER(WHICH IS A LOT BUT I AM ALL ABOUT FAMILY AND HE KNOWS THAT), AND WHEN I SAY WHAT IS THAT LOOK FOR HE SAYS "WHAT LOOK,I DIDN'T HAVE A LOOK" EWW...IT MAKES ME MAD KNOW JUST WRITTING THIS ALL DOWN!! OK SO MY QUESTION IS... WHAT SHOULD I DO??!

For heavens sakes.....kick this lazy, good-for-nothing asshole out.....by this weekend! What is wrong with you??? I blame YOU, sweetie......you are what is known as an Enabler!!! Why are you being patient? Why are you paying all of the bills? Why are you financing him? If you don't get rid of this bum.....then stop whining and complaining because you are asking for this......all of it and you have NO ONE to blame but yourself!!!

giiirl...i am going through it too...similiar. he doesnt do SH!T. i talked to his mom and she suggested that i put my foot down. it's called MENTAL abuse. tell him that you love him but what's love got to do with it. love isnt suppose to hurt...8mos is too early to tell where you guys will be later on. i been with my man for 4yrs...a long time and very hard to change his ways. but if you love him and you want to stay with him....u gotta put your foot down. dont let him walk all over you. it's not right...you shouldnt be paying for all the bills ...you shouldn't be taking care of his ***. tell him to grow up and get a job that will be able to support BOTH of ya'll. a relationship take TWO ...it should NEVER be "i did more than you". it should always be equal.

He wants a free ride and you are givinig it to him. Show him the door. Or give him an ultamatium. But you've got to do something. Its bad when you don't want to go to your own home.

if it were me, i would give him a time limit to get a job. tell him that you love him but it is hard to support 2 grownups with just 1 job. make sure that he understands that your family is welcome there just as much as he is. i know that these things may be hard to say but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
