Budgies or parakeets are flock birds and are far better in at least a pair, so yes go out and find a partner for your bird.It does not matter what sex you buy as they all get on well together. It will probably take up to 72 hours for them to settle down together but in will probably be a lot quicker. Take any mirrors out of the cage and they will talk to each other rather than the reflection.

dont enable them flow. in case you do she will leagaly sue you. the regulation sees her as a "breader" and the birds her "sources" and in case you enable the birds flow its an analogous as destruction of sources. like in case you took her vehicle and busted the abode windows. WHAT you should DO in case you REALY favor to PISS HER OFF. first take photos of the situations that the birds are in and rfile that there is yet another cage that she does not use then call the epa. they're going to hit her with a very good which will be out of this international. SO HOW a lot do you favor to GET HER.

the one parakeet may not take to the new one , but they can grieve themselves to death. easiest thing to do is have another cage and put the new one in a let them get adjusted that way

I think "grief" counseling would be in order here. Maybe once a week for 4-6 weeks should be enough.

You might want to get one that is younger so that it will not die before the other one.
