You know, as a hospice nurse who has seen the horrors of AIDS, I think your question is somewhat out of line for a person who uses "Believer" as his ID. AIDS may have started in the gay community, but it is a very non prejudiced disease at this point. I would be very careful about what I say if I were you. Any one can be infected with AIDS, it is not a disease of sex any more. Don't judge a person who has AIDS, just think to yourself there but for the grace of God go I. You are NOT immune and believe me there is no longer a "low" risk group.

No, and unfortunately for you there's no cure for being a close-minded biggot. Anybody who has had sex with an infected partner can get AIDS, including *drumroll please* "Christians". To call all people who have AIDS "perverts" you would have to be calling everybody who has had sex a pervert, and sex is human nature.

I don't think it's right for anyone to say that God would use disease and death to "cure" sin. As Christians, we believe that Jesus is the "cure" for sin. Unfortunately, not all are willing to accept the cure because they are under the impression that the cost is too great. If disease was the "cure" for evil, why is Osama bin Laden still alive?

You can't be serious. Just in case you are... please research... you will find that more straight people actually have and spread this disease. One of the largest groups are those drug users who share needles. Now granted, shooting up isn't clean... but I wouldn't call it perverted.
