i have dirty blonde hair and i was wondering how you make it lighter. like something homemade that i could try.some of my friends have used this expensive stuff from the store, but its just too much.i also don't want to die or highlight my hair. no offense but i hate fake blondes, their just wannabes. all blondes would agree with me there.
help please?!

Have you tried putting lemon juice and sitting in the sun? Or, just being in the sun. And, I totally agree with you on fake blondes.

How could you say that you hate fake blondes when that's exactly what you aspire to be? There is no home tonic that you can use. Break down and buy the fake blonde gunk and look ridiculous like everyone else does. So you say.

I heard lemon juice, but I say natural is best, because anything you do to lighten your hair will fry it. Even lemon juice is acid. Also, lightening looks crappy when it grows out unless you're fanatical about maintenance.
I'll bet you look pretty cool the way you are.
P.S. Sun-In is peroxide, and bleach is, well, bleach. Anything you use to lighten your hair will damage it.

Fall is coming, if anything go darker, by the way I am a fake blonde, it actually looks natural and I love it. I am not a wannabe, my features look better with blonde hair.

natural lemon juice. rub it on your hair before you go out in the sun (or you can use slices of lemon and rub them on your hair). It will lighten it without using harsh chemicals and it's super cheap. Just keep doing it every day before you go out in the sun until you reach your desired amount.

ok, umm..I've used this awesome stuff b4 called SunIn it works like magic and doesn't damage ur hair. All u have to do is spray sum on damp hair, comb it thru, go outside in the sun, and ur good to go!

hey my girl is the same way. she gets stuff called TONER at the beauty supply and it just bring out the white in the hair and cancels out any orange or brown tones. she also has a shampoo called ARTEC that does the same thing......god, why do i know this????
