I used to feel the same way when my mom passed away, I wasn't very happy with God. Though I never stopped believing or praying. As time went by I grew to understand why God does some of the things he does. Please believe me when I tell you, God loves you and he would never Hurt you. Please stay faithful and study, learn all you can about God, the more you know, the more you will understand and the easier it will be for you to help someone in this same position later on. God only does what is best for us. I don't know what your situation is but in my situation I learned that God loves us all Individually. My mom was also Gods child, she was in pain, and God called her home to Heaven, he didn't take her from me, he stopped her from suffering, and she is in a much better place then we are. If there is something you have prayed for and haven't received it isn't because God is making you suffer, its because he does things in his own time and if it is something that he doesn't think you need in your life, then you probably won't get it. Please just remember, don't be mad at God, he may be the only one who is truly watching out for you, let him do his job and try to accept it as it comes. Keep Praying and I will pray for you to. Take care!

God doesn't make people suffer, people do. No one knows why God allows so much suffering in this world. But He has promised us comfort, that He will help us, it's not always right away. I don't understand alot of things about God and suffering, but that jerk that sais "He doesn't like you" is an ******. All we can do is pray, talk to Him like a best friend. Ask for help, He'll give it. Just believe. Sometimes you don't see Him work, but later, you'll His finger prints. I just said a prayer for you, even though I don't know u

God doesnt make us suffer, we do. We choose our own path in life and some of the things we do cause us to suffer. God doesnt want us to suffer. That is why he sent jesus to die on a cross so that we wouldnt have to suffer. All you have to do us ask Jesus to come into your life and take over. Then by going to church and reading your bible all things will become clear to you. Remeber though becoming a Christian does not mean that all will be peaches and cream, We all bear our own crosses, and suffer through trials and tribulations. With the help of our Lord and savior things get easier to deal with and in the end all of our blessings will come to us on judgement day. Most of all remember ... even though we turn our backs on God, we are all still his children and he loves us very much.

He doesn't. People choose their own paths and must deal with the consequences, positive or negative. It's just like a father who raises his son the best he knows how. He knows he can't control his actions or those of people surrounding him. So he hopes for the best, but if something happens to the son, it isn't the fault of the father. So to say he "makes" people suffer is incorrect. Now, if you asked why he PERMITS suffering to take place, that's a whole different religious topic. The below source I found answers this quite well.

God does not make people suffer - PEOPLE make people suffer. Most suffering is due to our own actions (or inactions). God's job is not to make us suffer, nor is it to save us from our own foolishness or the aggressions of others. His job is to love & support us, and to help us find within ourselves the strength to do what is right and to carry on.

You don't have to like God. He understands that you are only human, and that part of being human is being subject to doubts & fears. You are probably very young, and as you grow older you will find that life is a learning process ... and that it never ends. Somewhere along the way, you will probably learn to love God.

First of all God doesn't make people hurt. The devil does. God doesn't punish people he forgives everyone if they are truly sorry for their sins. God gave his life for us. Good is good. You should love him. For he gave you life and everything that is in it. The devil is the one that causes hurt. You have to have faith in God he is the only person that you can truly count on. God would never make anyone suffer , he suffered for us.

People cause their own suffering most of the time. Not God. He gave us all free will.
