consider actually reading the Bible.
"And when they were drawing near to Jerusalem and to Bethania at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith to them: "Go into the village that is over against you, and immeidately at your comming in thither, you shall find a colt tied, upon which no man yet hath sat: loose him, and bring him."
"And if any man shall say to you, What are you doing? say ye that the Lord hath need of him: and immediately he will let him come hither."
"And going their way, they found the colt tied befor the gate without, in the meeting of two ways: and they loosed him. And some of them that stood there, said to them: Why are you loosing the colt? Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them, and they let him go with them."
Clearly, the disciples borrowed the donkey with the owners' permission.

Jesus commanded that a certain donkey be brought to his use... the Gospels never said that Jesus stole a donkey. For all we know, the donkey could have belonged to a friend of Jesus, or the owner of the donkey may have known that Jesus would request the use of the animal. At the very least, the donkey was borrowed, not "stolen."

Jesus didn't steal it, He told his disciples to go borrow it and if the people wanted to know what they were doing, which they did, to tell them that the Lord needed it. When the owners heard what was going on they were cool. Probably Jesus had already made arrangements with them before hand and they were just checking to make sure that the right guys were getting the donkey and not some thieves.

He didn't steal a donkey. It was lent to him with the owner's knowledge and consent. Jesus simply foresaw that the donkey was available...hence the reason he sent a follower to go fetch it.

No, no, no - you've got confused in the translation.
It's a sin to steal a donkey, but it's not a sin to pinch someone's @ss ;)

I believe people believed he sinned, that was the reason he was abducted in the first place wasn't it? I am not religious but as a child I remember reading that they caught him working on the Lord's day of rest and wrote him up.

Yes, it's okay to steal donkeys.
Which, by the way, proves that Jesus was a Democrat.
