Sydney is notorious lately for cutting services with the mantra that "it will make them run on time". Funny... How can a service run on time if it no longer exists?

On top of that, they are encouraging more people to use public transport because of rising fuel prices, but they are putting the ticket prices up, and plan to cut even more services in future (WTF???!!!).

Where I'm at, public transportation is a fairly new thing, so I'm going to go with the fact that now I get stuck behind mostly empty buses riding around not picking up anyone and pretty much just being in the way.

The only public transportation that is available is the bus. The routes and times are limited making what would be a half hour car ride into a two hour bus ride.

The long wait times between buses. Overcrowded buses. Homeless people who stink up the whole bus. I'd rather take the train or drive. Takes too long to get anywhere too.

It can't suck cause there is no public transportation in my town. Either you have a car (or SUV) or you go no where.
