One loses salvation by denying Jesus as the savior.

This does not mean we should commit sins indiscriminately and toss it all up to, "Hey, I'm saved anyway."

We are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

That is, once saved, God takes possession of your soul and guides you--and certain things that seemed A-OK before are no longer acceptable.

Salvation can not be lost. It is a gift from God to those who believe. If you are sincere and truly are a believer then you will not intentionally sin. How ever we all fall short and that is why we are in need of forgiveness in the first place.

No,.....and let me first say that i grew up with but am NOT christian therefore i do know that technically it is written and taught(at least where i went at a "deciples of christ" church) that ANY and ALL sins committed by ANY and EVERY person on earth is foreknown(without reference to RELIGION,color,or sex) and that the decision jesus made to die for us foregives us of those sins before we are ever born....I do however believe that some people are just bad....maybe they will loose salvation or maybe nobody ever looses it and no matter what we go back where we came from

Some people believe that you can loose your salvation. I believe scripture says...God so loved the world he sent his only son that who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal live...John 3:16.
I don't think this is a green light to commit sins...I think if we are truly sorry and repent we have a forgiving God, but who would want to intentionally commit sins and chance it, or even disrespect our God that way??

No, just about all sin is intentional. You can lose your salvation by going back to live in it. If you were a drug addict, and got clean, but fell off the wagon, you wouldnt lose your salvation because you can always come back to repentance, but if you say "screw it, I dont care" and get back to making it part of your life, then yes you can lose your salvation. Read 2 Peter 2:20-22 about what happens to those who have recieved forgiveness from Jesus and go back into the life of sin. (forget the Once Saved Always Saved garbage)

Well, a Christian is going to sin until he kicks the bucket. He can't help himself. And as far as whether or not one can lose salvation...that is a hotly debated issue within many churches. It is my belief that 'once saved, always saved'....we do not earn God's mercy or salvation-it is a gift freely given if only we'd accept. We do not deserve this mercy or salvation...in fact, all people, Christian or not, deserve eternal damnation...but God loves his people so much and he wants to have a relationship with them and spend eternity with them...so he offered up his son as the sacrifice for our sins.

If we are unworthy of salvation to begin with...how can we do anything to UNearn salvation. That's my belief anyway.

Prove to me that actual Christians exist, and I will formulate an opinion on their supposed lost salvation through sin. Frankly, I have only ever witnessed or met "poseur-Christians", as none of them are actually Christ-like. Have a nice night.

You have to repent and confess your sin to the Savior, and He being just will forgive you. That is why we are in constant prayer and repentance. We pray for forgiveness even if we don't realize we made a sin. Better to be safe than sorry. But mostly we try our best to follow Christ and not to err. Although being human we are prone to make mistakes, and err.

No, provided the Christian in question is willing to continue struggling for justice, holding up the dignity of people, cultivating truth and putting grace into practice. This means great deals of repentance and forgiveness.

If one intentionally sins, then they are no longer repentent and after a time they can lose the Holy Spirit and will fall away from the faith.
