Turkey, steak, mackeral, chicken; any animal meat is high in protein.

Legumes such as lentils and mung beans are very high in protein, as are any nuts such as almonds, peanuts and walnuts.

If your looking for protein, there are lots of it in meats (be careful if avoiding fats, however), as well as different types of nuts such as peanuts or almonds (watch your sodium intake unless they are non-salted) as well as your legumes such as your beans, which often like a fresh veggie such as a green bean can be very healthy and you can eat as many as you like...Eat a portion of steak, a handful of your favorite nut such as peanuts, and as many green beans as you like (easy on butter) and you'll get all the protein and prettymuch other nutrients you want.
