Let him have all those nasty sweets and when he can't get it up tell him to ask his donuts for help. You can't blame him for your problem though. Just because the donuts are there doesn't mean you have to eat them. Facing them and denying them is the real test to see if you do want to lose weight. Using sex as a weapon will backfire into more problems so act grown up and mature and move on with a real plan.

Never use sex as a weapon. Never, ever. If he brings home donuts, don't eat them - if he keeps offering them to you, put them in the sink and run some water over them. Tell him again how serious you are about your diet, and that you could really use his support. If he's just bringing in the donuts for himself and not pressuring you to take any, I don't think he's really doing anything wrong. Do what you have to so you're not tempted to eat them. Good luck ~

Sex is not a bargaining tool in a marriage. If you have to stoop to 'withholding sex' or bribing your husband with sex, then you have more problems than just him bringing home donuts. This is a very simple thing to compromise on and there should be no need to resort to tasteless (no pun intended) tactics.
Good luck on your diet! Remember...it's not a diet, it's a 'lifestyle' change...maybe that will help you stick with it!

Withholding sex is never a healthy way to deal with marital problems. It sounds like neither of you are really dealing with each other in constructive ways. I would seek marriage counseling. You don't have to be on the verge of divorce for counseling to help, just tell your husband your marriage needs a tune up and go for a few sessions to air out problems like that in front of a neutral party. Good luck!

You could do, but he isnt really doing anything that bad. Yes he could be a little more encouraging. However how would you feel if he then went looking for sex elsewhere due to having none at home.
Remember sex is great for your diet also, excellent calorie burner ;)
And all the best on your diet, I hope you reach your goal.

You should try your best to include him in your diet and try to diet together. That's in a perfect world. In reality if he's actively hampering your tried and true effort to lose weight and live healthier, withhold the sex. Us men are basic creatures and taking away sex is good way to get our attention, if not the best.

I think you should keep your diet but you should accept he is not on diet.
I understand what you meant by support, but the truth is, there is no reason to be upset. He must understand you are trying to eat healthy, but you should understand he is not. Communication is the key of success.

I know it's hard but don't eat unhealthy food. Just don't do it. You will so regret it. Just think of how good you will look when you finally lose weight. Don't hold back sex from him he might find some other women to do it with.

Let him eat the donuts. That's probably why he bought them in the first place.

withholding sex is only gonna cause him to look other places..
i'd do the diet for you, then when you're looking decent, get dolled up & go dancing.. he'll like the way you look & a lil jealous of the attention you get. meanwhile you can joke about the nice tight abs & buttocks on the cowboys...lol he'll think differently about your diet then...lol
