lets see, several references state that god is upon himself, light. "The light of God" so he didnt need an external light for anything, but he created one after the "void" to make what we have and see now. His light was still present in the garden until, well we messed up, and he removed his physical presence and only his created light remained with the presence of the spirit of God.

Actually, first there was the void and darkness. Then God became the first being to be born by transformation into that heaven. He then thought of light and then there was light. Then he realized in his world he could just think thoughts and thing become. So he thought he created everything that he could thing and sense. So when he sense others who were born there and the world (earth) he glorified himself and become what we know as God.

Some ppl speculate that alot happened between "God created the heaven and the earth." and "And the earth was without form, and void" like thousands of years. And a pre Adamic race of people.

That is just a story of how people thought the earth was created a long time ago. We still don't know for sure much more than they did 3000 years ago. The 10th planet was known 3000 years ago and we just discovered it in the last few years.

No... God cursed the ground in Genesis 3:17 as a result of Adam's sin... You should've read a little farther into the book...

No. He did a better job with the Earth than he did with man and he had the lights on when he made man.
