a 10'x12' tarpaulin = shelter, can catch dew/rain in it, can use it to carry stuff, etc. = very handy.

Tossing up between a lighter and a knife and I am gonna go for knife.
Why?
It will help with building a shelter, obtaining food, making tools and fishing hooks.
To make fire, a knife can be struck against a small rock or stone to create sparks for a fire (but you probably already know that).
If the island is somewhere like in the series Lost, then a knife would be good for protection too.

I would take my butler of course! I mean what better item to take? My butler will be able to help me out in so many ways. To start with he will be able to build me my bamboo and palm frond bungalow so that I can have my privacy (when will the plebs realise I need to be ALONE??). Next he can do all that other hard work like fetching the Evian water and finding me some gourmet, low fat, low carb food, whilst I perfect my tan down on the beach. I need to conserve my energy for the important moments when the camera is focused on ME - my agent says that the public does not like a tired looking celebrity so I will do my best not to let him down.

If I were on Celebrity Survivor, my face and body would have to be kept looking good for future movies, television work etc. Therefore I would definitely take a huge bottle of 30+ sunscreen and coat myself in it to avoid burnt skin and wrinkles down the track..!

A deck of cards. They're not only entertainment but when people are really refusing to make decisions or arguing too much, getting them to pick a card, any card etc and then asking those participating to show their cards, to see which is the highest one, is a way to make a decision that leaves it really all up to pure luck!!!

Either that or the Tim Tam Genie (the original one - N'Fa, of course!).

I would take my make-up(cosmetic) kit because I am a "celebrity" and I have to look good on camera at all time.

Food will definitely be settled by the production team because my agent would sue them if they don't.

Injury would be taken care of by the insurance.

Lodging can't be half-bad off the camera.

First let me say that I drive my b/f nuts when u r on the tv.Whether it was Home & Away, Days of our lifes or most recent dancing with the stars. If I couldn't take u, as u were such a gentleman & hero helping the moso tribe, it would have to be a tarp! To go without food is one thing, but to go without sleep cause your wet is another. A tarp can be used for alot of things other than shelter. Good luck Justin XXXX

If I was on Celebrity Survivor and I could only take one item with me I would not take anything. There is nothing that I could not live without for the duration and I would use it as a reason to leave all lifes hassles behind and do some soul searching and to grow as a person. To take a single item would be to hard to choose because to choose one item means you can not take something else with you so I wouldnt take anything.

Well, I was watching Cast Away last night and I believe Wilson helped Mr Tom Hanks salvage his sanity, so I suggest a sport ball that you can make a face on with mud.

A daggar or something like a knife.

1. To protect myself from unknown creatures, self protection
2. For cutting things such as food
3. Can be used for digging
4. Can 'threaten' other people to do the things I ask them to do (hahahaha)
