The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking. But it took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation. We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find The Rose Law Firm billing records. It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard Than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick
It took less time to take Iraq than it took

Nice to see someone with facts for a change. I'm tired of the ignorant BS about the war coming from so many people who know nothing about it except what they see on CNN.

Hopefully we stay the course in the war on terror, despite all the bad media and politics about it. As a combat vet of the war I am glad to go back into the fight when my turn comes up again. Too bad we don't have more support from Americans, I guess too many of them have a short memory.

Indeed the military morale IS high. Of course everyone deployed wants to return as soon as possible, but the vast majority don't want to leave until the job is finished. But the fact of the matter is that just because people would rather be at home than in Iraq or Afghanistan in no way implies low morale! It's perfectly normal for people to be home. If a civilian is on a business trip away from his/her family, wouldn't you think they'd rather be home? OF COURSE! But does that mean their morale is poor? Definitely not.

Nice job. But you can't get people to engage in reality and search for a greater truth these days. It is unpleasant, and it takes effort.
They also have little sense of perspective and magnitude. to them bad is bad. The State sponsored genocide as a matter of national policy, is bad; the accidental death of 5 civilians is just as bad. No attempt to drill down into the differing motivations or premeditations.

I have always said that what you "feel" is not equal to what I "think". That is to search for and evaluate facts, and then come to a conclusion even if you don't like what you find. that is different than starting with the answer you want, and looking for bits of data to support what you wanted all along.

Thanks for the service and sacrifice.

Wow, I wish there were more people like you out there, because obviously you haven't been brain washed by the media or the other idiots out there. I feel like you do...we've gotten so much accomplished over there in a short time and a lot of good things have come out of it as well. I always have supported the war and will continue to do so.

Thank you for your support. I am very proud to call you a fellow American!

WOW!! Someone else who does research and hasn't fallen to the biased propaganda. Good for you!! You state very good points, but you do realize that none of them will let it sink in as to what you wrote. They believe their side is the only side. And to think they call us (the military) brainwashed. I wonder if they ever really go back and see what they write or get a second point of view on what they read.

BTW....in answer to your question, I feel pretty good. I know our men and women need to come home. I'm married to one of them and don't want him to ever go back. However, I know what his job is and I'm proud of him for that. He and our friends know what we're doing for the Iraqi people. That's something people who are delusional will never know or understand. No, Bush isn't the greatest president, but he's not even close to our worst one.

Keep up your research and always stay informed. HooAh!!

Many of your facts are to long ago for many young Americans to remember (or care about).
Least we forget about the modern day terrorist attacks on the US - USS Cole, World Trade Centers, Embassies, etc...
I wonder how people, who refuse to accept war as an answer to attacks, would feel if we were repeatedly attacked here over the last 5 years - which has been without attack on American soil.
Because they will come here to attack us if we allow them to.

Wow you spent some time on that one. Thank you. I am an Active Duty Air Force Member. You are right, morale is high. The media is biased and people want to hear the bad and ugly news. We have done some great things. I was in Kuwait from Sept-Jan of 05 and we did some terrific things. Thanks for your post.

The reason the left has not posted to this is that they can't argue truth with left wing rhetoric. The truth scares them.

The moral was high while I was in theatre. Still is from what I hear.

Semper Fi, Hooah and keep it coming!

I like your outline of the facts, but what I appreciate most is the way your post was received by so many. It is refreshing to know that there are still many Americans that see the truth and aren't brainwashed by left wing propaganda.

Simper Fi baby! It is God's job to pass judgment on Bin Laden and it is the job of the Marines to arrange the meeting.
